Project description:

You will carry out work on a novel project related to the structural and biochemical analysis of protein-nucleic acid complexes relevant in gene-regulation at the host-virus interface. Our central methodologies are solution NMR, crystallography and SAXS, together with a broad method spectrum from biochemistry and biophysics. In this project, we plan to analyze the remodeling of DNA and RNA G-quadruplex structures by a multi-ZnF-protein in an interdisciplinary approach including a plethora of strong collaborations.

You should have:

  • M.Sc. or Diploma in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology or biophysics
  • Good knowledge in the cloning and production of protein and/or RNAs
  • Experience in the analysis or structure determination of proteins and in analysing protein-ligand interactions
